Collect consents without storing IP addresses or user-agents

By default, Openli stores the IP address and browser user-agent with consents to aid provability. Openli lets you collect consent without storing these, which some jurisdictions might require.

Exclude IP addresses and user-agents from the audit trail

Here's how to do it:

  1. Log in to your dashboard

  2. Click Settings in the left sidebar

  3. In the Projects section, click Edit for the project you need to change

  4. Tick the box just below the project name to Exclude IP addresses and browser user-agent from audit trail (see screenshot below)

  5. Click Save project

Once these simple steps are done, your audit trail will no longer collect IP addresses and browser user-agents in future consents for this project.
